What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Accreditation and Regulatory position at HCTHealthcare?
HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Director of Accreditation & Regulatory for a 250 bed hospital in California. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and enforcement of clinical accreditation and regulatory programs including The Joint Commission (TJC), Title 22, CMS and CDPH. Other responsibilities include:
- Directing department workflow.
- Leading continuous regulatory readiness and compliance to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Working closely with staff to educate, set standards for behavior, and provide a positive working environment to ensure strong employee morale and productivity.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree required, BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience, plus 2 years of managerial experience, both in an acute care hospital setting. Previous successful experience as a Manager or Director with responsibility for hospital's accreditation and regulatory readiness required.
- Licensure: Current RN license in CA required
