Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) is seeking committed, patient, and compassionate individuals to serve as Shared Living Home Providers for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, including Autism in Windham County, Vermont. Role Responsibilities
As a Shared Living Home Provider, you will offer a stable, supportive, safe, accessible and respectful home environment. Responsibilities include:
- Providing person-centered, compassionate daily support
- Assisting with appointments, activities of daily living, and community involvement
- Collaborating closely with an experienced professional team
- Supporting the individual as outlined in their treatment and support plan
· Experience in caregiving, nursing, or human services is helpful but not mandatory.

Some individuals need an environment that is accessible for wheelchair use and/or mobility limitations.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

- Are you willing to assist these individuals as they learn to navigate the community and support them with social skills?
- The Shared Living Provider will be required to attend 2 in person trainings a year as well as maintaining current status on all trainings.
- Do you have a Vehicle Insurance Policy with the minimum liability coverage of:
Per occupant: $100,000 minimum
Per accident: $300,000 minimum
- Do you have a Homeowner or Rental Insurance Policy with the minimum liability coverage of:
Homeowner’s or Renter’s Insurance
Liability: $500,000 minimum
Medical payments to others: $1,000 minimum
- Are you at least 21- years of age?
- Do you have a valid driver's license?
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 3 years (Required)
