Job Description: The Automotive Apprentice Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance, and diagnostic tests of the UPS vehicle fleet. This position is responsible for a broad range of maintenance activities that are performed to keep UPS package handling facilities operating efficiently and effectively. The work can be fast-paced and requires routine interaction with other operations employees. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Location: 22 Aero Drive NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8Z9, Canada Workdays: Monday through Friday Shift Hours: 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM Wage: Level 1 $23.93 Level 2 $27.28 Level 3 $29.10 Level 4 $32.28 Key Responsibilities: Repair & inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner Operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities & on public roads Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25 to 35 lbs.
