Job title: IT Solutions Architect

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated IT Solutions Architect with Pricing in Auto or Property Casualty Insurance . IT Solutions Architect must have experience with Pricing within Auto or P&C. With a focus on solution development, consulting, or related roles within Pricing domain.

Must Have Skills:

• IT Solutions Architect with Pricing within Auto or Property Causality insurance must have
• 15 years of experience in the insurance industry with solution development, consulting, or large-scale delivery leadership
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Pricing domain (P&C)
• Experience with Rating Factors, Pricing Calculation, Risk Factors, or Risk Management.
• Strong end-to-end pricing solution ownership (vision, roadmap, outcomes)
• Proven experience in solution architecture oversight across pricing engines, rating logic, and integrations
• Expertise in delivery leadership, milestone management, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation
• Strong stakeholder leadership skills, acting as a trusted advisor to Pricing, Product, and IT leadership
• Experience managing cross-team and vendor coordination in complex technology ecosystems
• Strong understanding of pricing governance, risk management, and compliance alignment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience driving pricing platform modernization and technical debt reduction
• Exposure to enterprise OKR/leadership frameworks tied to business outcomes
• Prior experience with Earnix, Guidewire, or similar pricing/rating platforms
• Experience in large US insurance programs with regulatory and audit considerations

Job Description:

• Own the end-to-end pricing solution vision, roadmap, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with enterprise pricing strategy and business priorities
• Guide solution-level teams in defining, tracking, and delivering measurable OKRs tied to pricing strategy, operational efficiency, and business value
• Solution-level design and architectural oversight across pricing engines, rating logic, and integrations
• Lead overall pricing solution delivery health, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution to ensure predictable execution
• Coordinate internal delivery teams and vendor partners to deliver integrated, end-to-end pricing capabilities across the technology ecosystem
• Act as a trusted advisor to Pricing, Product, and IT leadership, supporting solution decisions, prioritization, and trade-off management
• Identify, escalate, and resolve pricing-specific risks and cross-system dependencies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing agility, reduce technical debt, and ensure long-term platform sustainability

Pay Range Minimum: 141,000k

Pay Range Maximum: 218,000k

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
