Position Summary:

Candidate will be a key member of security team, taking ownership of Android component of our Runtime Protection Agent. Your mission is to build a lightweight, performant SDK that detects and mitigates threats on Android devices, while collaborating with iOS counterpart to maintain a consistent, cross-platform security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Runtime Protection Agent SDK for Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Implement and optimize low-level native code (C /JNI) to detect threats like rooting, debuggers, emulators, and instrumentation frameworks (e.g., Frida).
• Collaborate with the iOS team to align on threat detection logic and ensure a unified SDK architecture across platforms.
• Create and maintain the Android demo application and support product teams with SDK integration.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of mobile development experience with expert-level proficiency in Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with Android development (Kotlin/Java) is required for effective cross-platform collaboration.
• Proficient in C/C and the Java Native Interface (JNI) for building performant, low-level detection mechanisms.
• Understand Android security model, permissions, and low-level system APIs.
• Experience with reverse engineering and tamping tools is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $135,000/ year
• Pay Range Maximum: $155,000/ year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
