We are seeking an experienced Field Services Desktop Technician to provide on-site, enterprise-level support to end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, managing user onboarding/offboarding, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily desktop support for Windows/Mac devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, and application issues.
- Build, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones.
- Manage IT inventory and coordinate vendor repairs.
- Handle tickets in ServiceNow and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
- Support network, VPN, printing, and conference room A/V systems.
- Assist with Windows imaging and deployments (MDT/SCCM/Autopilot).
- Maintain documentation and deliver clear technical communication to users.
- Collaborate with local site leads and global IT teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 8/10, macOS, Office 365, Intune/Azure AD.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting, imaging tools (WDS/MDT/SCCM).
- Familiarity with AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, encryption tools, VPN.
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, VLANs) and printer support.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
Qualifications
- Graduate in IT/Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical/Desktop Support Engineer.
- Certifications like A , Microsoft, or equivalent are a plus.
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to HCL policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to HCL policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off (PTO) per year (some positions are eligible for unlimited PTO); and 10 paid holidays per year.

Salary : $42,000 - $68,000
