Role Description This full-time on-site Medical Assistant role is based in Anchorage, AK and supports clinicians in delivering safe, efficient patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical history, and preparing patients for examinations and procedures. The Medical Assistant helps manage appointment flow, front-office functions, and maintains exam rooms, supplies, and equipment. Daily tasks also include accurate entry and maintenance of medical records, handling patient communications, and assisting with basic clinical procedures under provider supervision. The role requires consistent adherence to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and privacy regulations, while contributing to a positive, patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification (CMA/RMA or equivalent) preferred. New Grads are welcome!
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within required timeframe.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to teamwork and patient-centered service.
- Ability to work on-site in Anchorage, AK and follow all clinical safety and infection control procedures.
