Purpose
The Production Facility Manager oversees the production and mailing of customer deliverables from an HC3 print production facility. This role contributes directly to the satisfaction of our clients and the company's operational goals by leading, managing, and holding their designated Production team accountable for consistently generating high quality work products that meet end user expectations. A successful Production Facility Manager recruits and coaches a highly productive team that is focused on efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Provide general Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) for a designated print production facility, which includes three production shifts, five days per week.
- Manage production activities to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage inventory and supply needs for the facility to ensure production activities run efficiently and inventory is maintained at an appropriate level.
- Facilitate equipment maintenance and vendor relationships.
- Maintain a secure, well kept, orderly production facility that is safe for employees and suitable for audits, meetings, and client tours.
- Oversee daily job production processes and evaluate with a continual improvement mindset to ensure the processes remain relevant, effective, and appropriately documented.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Management experience
- Intermediate computer skills
Preferred
- Broad manufacturing and industry experience
- Familiarity with Google Suite
Supervisory Responsibility
This position provides direct oversight and direction to the Production team at a single facility, to include assigning work, hiring for open positions, and conducting performance reviews.
Work Environment
Work will be performed in both a climate-controlled office environment and production facilities with strict safety regulations.
Travel
This role requires occasional overnight travel to provide oversight and support of other production facilities and to attend training, industry, or trade events.
Physical Demand
This role will require standing for long periods of time, operating warehouse equipment to move heavy loads, and lifting up to 70 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time salaried position with responsibilities that may require night and weekend work in order to remain available to direct reports and area(s) of oversight. Normal working hours will be during the first shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, however, because production runs continuously 24/7/365, this role will be on call to resolve any escalated issues that occur during any of the three daily shifts.
