About the Role

We are looking to immediately add a fast-paced and detail-oriented estimator to our team. You would serve as a key liaison for clients, ensuring timely and accurate quotes for supply opportunities. When clients convert quotes to purchase orders, you would also produce work orders for our manufacturing team, ensuring they are aware of all key details so they can manufacture to spec. This is a great opportunity for those interested in serving clients with a need for decorative products that are custom manufactured. You would work closely with our experienced team members to learn the fundamentals of our products, industry standards, and quoting/work order processes.

Position Details

• $25.00 to $29.00 per hour (equivalent of $52K to $60K per year).
• Approximately 40 hours per week.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x regular hourly rate.
• Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
• In office. No travel. Our clients are located throughout the country, so interactions with them are via email and phone.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in estimating, order management, project management, customer service, or related responsibilities.
• Window treatment experience would be ideal.
• Industry experience in FF&E, A&D, interior design, specialty construction, or similar fields is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to balance multiple requests simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• A desire for growth and continuous improvement.
• A college degree is considered a plus but is not required.
• Clean background checks and excellent references.

Compensation package

• Weekly pay, on the first Wednesday after the week in which hours were worked.
• 6 paid holidays per year.
• Paid Time Off: 10 days in years 1-3, 15 days in years 4-5, 20 days in years 6 .
• 401(k) retirement plan. HCI will match up to 4% of pay. Eligibility begins after 2 months.
• Short-term disability insurance.
• $25,000 of life insurance.
• If you choose to participate in our health insurance program, HCI covers the majority of your premiums. HCI does not contribute to premiums for employee family members. Eligibility begins the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment.
