About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with department personnel to define project scopes, prepare cost estimates, and ensure construction projects are planned and executed to the highest standard. What You’ll Do
- Walk, photograph, and scope construction projects of various types and sizes
- Inspect buildings and job sites to determine scope of work
- Estimate baseline labor, material, and equipment requirements
- Review plans, blueprints, and contract documents in preparation for bids
- Prepare and submit accurate budget estimates and project costs
- Analyze job specifications to determine construction methods and evaluate cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contract standards
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Familiarity with safety and security procedures in construction environments
- Ability to analyze data, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend the most cost-effective approaches
Work Environment
This position involves both office and on-site work. You should be comfortable walking job sites, inspecting projects, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. The role requires close attention to detail, regular use of computer software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
