Position Summary
The Talent Sourcer plays a key role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent to support the company’s hiring needs across multiple departments especially service technicians, mechanics, and skilled trades, as well as professional and leadership positions.
This role works closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and the Executive Team to develop effective sourcing strategies, build candidate pipelines, and promote HC Forklift America’s employer brand. In addition to sourcing responsibilities, this position also supports broader Human Resources functions, including assisting with employee engagement events, internal communications, and serving as a liaison for general employee questions.
The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of recruiting or sourcing experience, has a collaborative mindset, and contributes fresh ideas while blending seamlessly into an established and high-performing HR team.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Recruiting
- Partner with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Leadership to understand hiring needs and workforce priorities.
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for technician, mechanic, skilled trade, and professional roles.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, really, job boards, social media, and referrals.
- Conduct outreach, initial screenings, and candidate pre-qualifications prior to interview scheduling.
- Maintain accurate pipelines, candidate data, and reports in Paycor and other ATS/HRIS systems.
- Track sourcing activity, provide regular updates, and support overall recruiting operations.
HR & Employee Support
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
- Serve as a first point of contact for general employee questions with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement events, recognition programs, and communications.
- Collaborate with HR team members to enhance the overall employee experience and company culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline recruitment and HR administrative processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or HR support.
- Proven experience sourcing for technicians, mechanics, or skilled trade positions.
- Proficiency with Paycor and other systems such as ATS, HRIS, or CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal stakeholders and candidates.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and engagement processes.
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or technical recruitment.
