About this Role
The Temporary Landowner Outreach Coordinator serves as the primary field liaison supporting project engagement, community stakeholders, and property owners along project corridors. This position focuses on direct door-to-door outreach to secure easement signatures, build community trust, manage expectations, and keep project progress on schedule.
***Please note that this is a temporary, contract-based position.***
What You'll Do
Direct Landowner Outreach & Signature Securment: Conduct in-person, door-to-door outreach to impacted property owners along predetermined routes to present easement documentation and secure required signatures.
Easement Administration & Notarization: Review pre-drafted easement documents with landowners, make minor verbiage edits as needed, and officially notarize signatures on-site.
Landowner Relations & Right-of-Way Support: Explain project timelines, access needs, and field activities to landowners in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
Document Tracking & Coordination: Maintain detailed logs of completed landowner contacts, executed easement agreements, and pending signature requests.
Conflict Resolution & Field Escalation: Address landowner questions and concerns on-site, serving as a calm, professional interface between property owners and project leadership.
What You'll Bring
- Active Notary Public license (or immediate eligibility to obtain state notary commission).
- Strong interpersonal, door-to-door, and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to maintain a professional demeanor in direct interaction with property owners.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily to project corridors and knock on doors throughout assigned regional territories.
- Ability to accurately review, complete, track, and execute legal document signatures in the field.
