Position Summary
Precision Metal Products is currently looking for an HR Intern to join their team. The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department with projects focused on training and development, documentation, and compliance. This position will play a key role in implementing the company’s new training management software to ensure that employee training requirements are properly assigned, completed, and documented within the Kaizen system.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in mapping out training requirements for each job title across all departments.
- Input and assign required training modules to employees within the Kaizen training software.
- Track completion of required trainings and follow up with supervisors and employees to ensure compliance.
- Upload and organize training records and supporting documentation into the Kaizen system.
- Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Department Managers to verify training content and accuracy.
- Assist in creating and updating training matrices, visual dashboards, and reports for management review.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to onboarding, compliance, and employee development.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Experience and Education
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous HR, administrative, or training-related experience preferred but not required
Technical Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and manage data accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with HR systems or training software a plus.
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
