Job Description
- Knowledge of administrative regulations, policies, and procedures governing rental assistance, housing assistance, and social service programs.
- Understanding of eligibility, recertification, and case management practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and ordinances related to housing assistance and assigned responsibilities.
- Knowledge of basic interviewing techniques, recordkeeping principles, and documentation procedures.
- Ability to prepare professional business correspondence, reports, and other written documentation using standard formats, grammar, spelling, and composition.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and accurately maintain and review program-related information and records.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and work with the public, vendors, contractors, and staff.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and other software programs used to compile information, generate documentation, and support daily business functions.
- Ability to use modern office equipment and communication tools to coordinate programs, projects, and tasks.
