Inventory Coordinator
Location: Multi-Site
Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift (with flexibility for oversight of all shifts, including occasional nights/weekends)
Reports to: General Manager
Salary: $18.50 - $24.00

About the Role
The Inventory Coordinator oversees daily inventory operations to ensure accurate product tracking, proper documentation, and compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, and traceability standards. This role acts as the central point for coordinating product flow, maintaining records, and supporting warehouse and production teams.
The Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee inventory counts, track product movement, and verify accuracy in all storage areas.
· Coordinate with receiving, production, QC, Dispatch and shipping teams to ensure timely updates and correct product labeling.
· Address inventory gaps and ensure clear communication channels are maintained for request handling.
GMP Compliance
· Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices such as correct signage, traffic‑flow expectations, and proper labeling.
· Identify and report incorrect labeling, improper storage conditions, or violations such as unlabeled containers or contamination risks.
Food Safety Support
· Ensure inventory storage meets food‑safety standards, including preventing contamination, monitoring storage conditions, and reporting risks.
· Support QC by helping identify issues like foreign material presence, pest risks, or incorrect sizing/labeling.
Traceability & Documentation
· Maintain accurate records for all lots, pallet counts, weights, and movements to support full product traceability.
· Ensure all required logs, forms, and documentation meet internal and regulatory expectations, especially important for audits and corrective actions.
Operational Coordination
· Assist in organizing materials for loads, cycle counts, and warehouse projects.
· Follow up on assigned tasks related to inventory labeling, sizing, and documentation accuracy.
· Coordinate communication to ensure all departments receive timely inventory updates.
Dispatcher Collaboration & Transfer Coordination:
- Work closely with the company dispatcher to schedule and communicate internal transfers between buildings, warehouses, or production areas.
- Ensure transfer requests are documented, prioritized correctly, and executed with full traceability.
Qualifications
· Experience in inventory or warehouse roles preferred.
· Strong understanding of GMPs, food‑safety guidelines, and traceability requirements (or willingness to learn).
· Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with multiple departments.
· Bilingual Spanish/English Required

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS:
- Ability to oversee operations requiring standing/walking for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Comfortable in a processing environment (cool/humid, loud—PPE required).
- Exposure to allergens (hazelnuts, etc.); must follow strict protocols.
- Frequent use of hands/fingers; ability to talk/hear in a manufacturing setting.
- Full-time role with potential for extended hours, weekends, or on-call during peak seasons.
