Salary new (max and min)
USD $30.18 - USD $42.60 /Hr.
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will:
- Collaborate with RNs regarding patients medications, physical status, psychological well being and Plan of Care.
- Implement and monitor patients detoxification protocols.
- Administer medications according to physician orders and safe medication administration practices.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatments.
- Communicate patients concerns, outcomes, needs and status to the nursing team.
- Demonstrate ability to use various forms of therapeutic communication when interacting with patients.
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a productive member of the nursing team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Twelve Step Program.
Required
- Vocational or technical training
- One year experience in acute care setting
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CPR/AED certification
- CA LVN license and current registration
- Minimum 2 years Freedom from Chemical Dependency
