GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, Maintenance, Operations and Transportation (FMOT) or other assigned administrator; plan, organize, evaluate and supervise the work of supervisory personnel and subordinate staff that provide grounds, maintenance, custodial and other facility related services. Develop a comprehensive training program for assigned areas of responsibility.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: college level or comparable courses in building trades, compliance and inspection, facility management, business practices, emergency preparedness and supervision, and four years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience in building construction, maintenance and inspections, or custodial and facility operations services. Associate of Arts degree in related field and/or School Building Inspection certification preferred. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license. Incumbent will be involved in field work which requires travel in personal vehicle to various sites. Incumbents may be required to wear protective apparel including goggles, face protectors, aprons, shoes and breathing apparatus. Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) Certification HIghly Desirable Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) Qualified Applicator Certificate Highly Desirable
