The Role
The Role
- Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers and verify proposed testing meets requirements
- Write test plans and procedures, create schedules, and manage budgets for all testing
- Oversee and personally conduct environmental testing to validate models for new product qualification and acceptance
- Implement engineering best practices to ensure accurate and on-schedule testing within budget
- Analyze test data real time and post-test to validate requirement adherence
- Design, model, and analyze vibration and structural test fixtures using CREO Parametric and Ansys Workbench
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of technical writing experience in test planning, analysis, or reporting
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with environmental test vibration shaker systems or instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gages, load cells, etc.)
- Experience with data acquisition systems (Dewetron, DeweSoft, LabView, Agilent/Keysight, Benchlink, Somat, etc.)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required
