The Role
The Role
- Support Data Center Design Engineering, Principal Engineering, and Hardware Engineering teams in developing innovative products for power distribution.
- Lead new product design and development, gathering internal and customer input.
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, reliability, QA/QC, and compliance teams to create well-engineered products.
- Create designs that meet or exceed quality requirements and deliver a return on investment.
- Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify electrical equipment, devices, and bills of materials.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes across various countries.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in Electrical Product Design for Power Distribution Equipment or UPS, or 8 years in Data Center or Mission-Critical Design, Construction, or Operations.
- Hands-on experience in new product design and development of electrical power distribution equipment and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
- Ability to define equipment specifications and evaluate design changes.
- Experience with testing products per latest codes and standards using third-party test laboratories.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with internal and external groups.

Salary : $136,600 - $184,800
