The Role
- Support the discovery and definition of data products, focusing on the consumer experience of data, insights, and analytics.
- Act as a bridge between user needs and technical implementation, ensuring design decisions are grounded in real user workflows.
- Produce low-fidelity wireframes, UX patterns, and visual guidance for discovery sessions and refinement.
- Facilitate and support end-user discovery sessions to capture needs, pain points, and consumption preferences.
- Define and document reusable UX patterns for dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics.
- Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate user insights into actionable product requirements.
- 3 years of experience in UX design, product design, service design, or a related discipline, ideally with exposure to data, analytics, or BI products.
- Demonstrated ability to produce low-fidelity wireframes, journey maps, and UX patterns.
- Experience planning or supporting user discovery sessions, interviews, or workshops.
- Strong communication skills to translate between business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and how users consume dashboards, reports, and insights.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage discovery environments where requirements are still being defined.
