The Role
The Role
- Provides subject matter expertise for back-end software development activities.
- Designs and develops back-end architectures supporting system capabilities and integrations.
- Develops and modifies RESTful APIs to support application functionality and database management.
- Performs database management, data modeling, and optimization.
- Supports testing and validation to ensure system operability and compliance.
- Participates in Agile program increment planning and related activities.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a Master’s degree as a substitute.
- 7 years of software development experience with object-oriented and scripted languages, DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
- 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira) and testing web-based applications.
- 3 years of experience with back-end web design and development.
- 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations.
