The Role
As a senior leader within the tax practice, you will oversee both technical tax work and client advisory relationships while helping guide the development of the firm’s tax team.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing tax compliance and planning for business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and estates

Reviewing and approving complex tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance

Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients

Mentoring and developing staff and managers within the tax department

Maintaining and strengthening long-term client relationships

Staying current with federal and state tax law changes and implementing best practices

Supporting firm leadership with practice growth and operational improvements
Qualifications

CPA license required
-
10 years of public accounting tax experience

Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing engagements

Proven leadership ability and experience mentoring staff

Excellent client relationship and advisory skills

Master’s in Taxation (preferred but not required)
