Known for delivering high-quality work, strong field teams, and a collaborative culture, this contractor is in the market for a Senior Superintendent to lead a high-profile Affordable housing project in Mountain View, CA.
Your new role
You will lead field operations on a ground-up multifamily development in Mountain View – a 6-story, 100% affordable housing community with 108 units.
Key project features include:
- Podium-style construction with structured parking
- Community-focused design with shared amenities, landscaped courtyard, and outdoor spaces
- Mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units tailored to family housing
- Sustainability-driven with all-electric design approach & energy-efficient systems
You will be responsible for:
- Full site leadership from mobilization through turnover
- Managing subcontractors, safety, schedule, and quality
- Driving production in a tight urban infill environment
- Partnering closely with the Project Manager and ownership team
- Maintaining strong client and community relationships
What you’ll need to succeed
- 8 years of construction experience with ground-up multifamily projects
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on podium or mid-rise builds
- Strong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor management skills
- Experience navigating prevailing wage / union environments (highly preferred)
- Ability to lead teams and drive schedules in complex, active job sites
