Hays is partnered with a well-known Real Estate firm, who are looking to add a Property Manager to their team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company.
Your new role
- Complete property inspections & maintenance assessments on-site
- Prepare monthly reports including financial statements, operating and leasing metrics and occupancy and lease expiration status
- Oversee Capital & Tenant Improvement Planning and Coordination
- Communicate regularly with and manage site vendors and contractors
- Prepare vendor contracts, reports, and other related documents
- Manage and oversee tenant space buildouts/improvements in order to maintain a high quality of construction and to ensure compliance with construction drawings, including conducting meetings with architects, construction contractors, and tenants
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need a minimum of 3 years property management experience in Commercial Real Estate (Mixed-use experience)
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Experience overseeing multiple assets
- Experience managing a team (recruitment, onboarding, training & development)
- Proficient in Yardi, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, ETC.)
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration or Communication is preferred
