About the Role
Our client, a global leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support manufacturing process improvements, production efficiency, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Analyze production and quality data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Support process validation, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.
- Improve workflow, equipment utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
- Assist with automation, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 0 - 2years of manufacturing, process engineering, internship, or co-op experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience with process improvement and/or automation.
- Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, or Minitab.
Preferred Skills:
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or Root Cause Analysis.
- Manufacturing process optimization and quality improvement experience.
- Exposure to manufacturing systems, equipment, or automation technologies.
