ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a Data Engineer to build and run SQL and DE migration to Azure and own the infrastructure behind them. You will install, configure and maintain the libraries, runtimes and ETL client tools our data platform depends on, keeping them secure, current and reliable.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Strong SQL and Python
Proven experience installing and administering ETL tools, drivers and software libraries, database drivers and ODBC/JDBC connectors) on servers and Vms..
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning), SSIS (package development and deployment) and SSRS (report design and server administration).
Manage SQL Server databases, develop and deploy SSIS packages, and build and maintain SSRS reports, including migrating these workloads to Azure where needed.
Manage Python and other libraries and packages across environments, resolving version conflicts and dependencies.
Document configurations and support CI/CD for data workloads via Git Actions.
