Your New Role
In this position, you will take responsibility for preparing monthly management accounts in line with internal deadlines, working within a SAP environment. You’ll provide clear and insightful variance analysis alongside detailed financial commentary, helping stakeholders understand the story behind the numbers. You will also be responsible for creating initial contract budgets, uploading them into the system, and ensuring that new projects are correctly set up in our accounting framework.
The role includes managing sales ledger invoicing and working closely with clients to confirm monthly billing values. You will prepare, reconcile and post journals, support both interim and year‑end audits, and collaborate with wider support functions to maintain accuracy across all postings. A key part of your contribution will be identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve the flow of information through the department. You will also support reporting obligations to external stakeholders.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you should be part‑qualified in a professional accounting qualification and bring experience in management accounting gained in a fast‑moving environment. Strong Excel and data‑modelling skills are essential, and familiarity with SAP would be an advantage. Above all, we are looking for someone analytical, detail‑focused and proactive, with the confidence to work independently while building effective relationships across the business.
