What You’ll Need To Be Our Tax Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required, preferably with a Master’s degree in Taxation
- Extensive public accounting experience in income tax preparation and review for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, and C Corporations
- Proven leadership and project management abilities, with strong organizational skills to manage and delegate multiple simultaneous tasks
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law
- Strong analytical and tax research skills
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining positive and professional client relationships
- Exposure to relevant tax software systems, including CCH, Lacerte, QuickBooks, and/or Canopy
- Flexibility to take on larger workloads during Tax season
- CPA, preferred
- Previous experience in income tax preparation and review for trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations, preferred
- Goal-oriented and innovative leader with a proactive approach to achieving business results

- Target Compensation for this role is $110,000 - $130,000
- Lead a high-performing team to deliver accurate and timely tax services through effective training and mentorship
- Foster positive and productive client relationships, ensuring clear expectations are established and maintained to ensure client satisfaction
- Project manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and firm standards
- Contribute to business development by supporting the growth of existing client accounts and identifying new opportunities
- Implement and maintain efficient processes within the team to meet performance goals and ensure compliance
