This position will work directly with stakeholders and facilitate communication, planning, and execution to achieve project goals and deadlines. This position will also be responsible for recommending technology-based solutions based on project and case team requirements. This position will collaborate closely with other Discovery Project Managers and Discovery Analysts to ensure timely delivery and high-quality work product.

Experience/Knowledge:
This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer) on a regular basis. The incumbent is occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm's attorneys, clients, and staff. The incumbent must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
Working Conditions
This position can be in-office, remote, or a combination of both environments. Working additional hours beyond the normal schedule may be required to meet Firm or client demands.

Essential Duties
- Initiate and maintain consistent communication with partners, associates, and paralegals to monitor and enhance Firm-wide department utilization.
- Collaborate with all internal and external case team members to plan, execute, and complete electronic discovery projects.
- Oversee the completion of all project documentation and quality control procedures.
- Ensure the distribution, monitoring, and prioritization of tasks for internal and external technical resources.
- Provide guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and clients regarding electronic discovery best practices, rules, and laws. Develop strategies for the optimal use of litigation support technology and workflow processes.
- Prepare and update project cost budgets and timelines, communicating status as needed.
- Collaborate with all internal and external resources to develop documented and creative solutions for problems.
- Establish and update project plans with actual data and forecasts, and manage deviations from plans.
- Respond to on-demand training and assistance requests; troubleshoot litigation support applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of general technology trends affecting litigation automation and evaluate new technologies relevant to the Firm’s objectives.
- Conduct Firm-wide training for standard litigation support applications.
- Assist case teams with data analysis utilizing ECA Tools, XERA, and third-party provider tools.
- Maintain and update the department's best practice guide when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The Discovery Project Manager reports directly to the Director of eDiscovery and Litigation Support.
- This position has no direct reports.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience working with a mid-sized or large law firm that insources, or with a service provider, is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a litigation support environment or with a legal service provider.
- 3 years of experience with litigation software use and administration.
- 3 years of experience working with database load files within the legal industry.
- Basic SQL experience or equivalent, with a desire to expand knowledge.
- General understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI).
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated and possess a solid understanding of electronic discovery and litigation support best practices within a law firm environment.
- Must possess superior written and oral communication skills and strong client service skills.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Maintain strong analytical skills and demonstrate innovative problem-solving abilities.
