This non-exempt position requires developing expertise in the firm’s litigation technology to create and maintain litigation support document images and data for production in various software formats. Responsibilities include analyzing data for case teams, performing quality checks on data and images from third-party sources, providing general user support for litigation software applications, and managing documents and data gathered during litigation and investigations.

Experience/Knowledge
This position requires regular operation of computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer). Occasionally, moving documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. is required. This role demands constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm attorneys, clients, and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.

Office environment; additional hours beyond the normal schedule may be required to meet firm or client demands.

Essential Duties
- Collaborates with Discovery Analyst team members to perform analytical and engineering aspects of data management throughout the e-discovery lifecycle.
- Collaborates directly with Discovery Project Managers to develop and execute litigation response and evidence management plans. Provides consultation on best practices.
- Manages the processing, hosting, and production of data using firm-supported e-discovery software tools, including: Lexis Nexis LAW, iConect XERA , Relativity/RelOne, Westlaw CaseNotebook, Cloud based e-Discovery solutions (Everlaw, Disco, etc…)
- Manipulates data using various text editing and comparative software tools.
- Maintains chain of custody logs, project plans, data tracking logs, and production logs.
- Troubleshoots litigation support applications, databases, and database load files.
- Prepares and transfers data, video, and images to stand-alone computers for depositions, court proceedings, trials, or presentations.
- Utilizes the Litigation Support ticketing system for organization and to track work requests.
- Consistently completes work requests accurately and timely. Communicates work status frequently and transparently.
- Takes ownership and collaborates with internal and external resources to troubleshoot technical roadblocks and complex situations. Documents results clearly in the knowledge base and communicates them appropriately to the entire Litigation Support team.
- Reviews and evaluates work performed by peers for quality assurance. Leverages a combination of processes, ReadySuite, homegrown tools, and checklists to complete this function.
- Implements and utilizes best practices and/or quality processes to deliver high-quality work products. Productivity and quality are tracked and trended to demonstrate the level of performance within the role.
- Participates in the automation of processes, creation of scripts, and evaluation of new technology and processes.
- The job is deadline-driven, sometimes requiring unexpected demands on time and effort; often requiring additional unscheduled hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. College Degree and/or demonstrated depth of experience are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience working with a mid-sized or large law firm (insourcing) or a service provider is preferred.
- 3 years of litigation support environment or legal service provider experience
- 3 years of litigation software use and administration.
- 3 years of working with database load files within the context of the legal industry
- Light SQL experience, or equivalent, with a desire to expand.
- General understanding of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and GenAI
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrates out-of-the-box thinking.
- Working well within a team; demonstrates innovation and shares ideas; open to new ideas.
- Reliability, flexibility, and availability as required.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work daily within a work management system.
