The Opportunity:
We’re hiring a 1st Shift Entry-Level Machine Operator (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). In this role, you’ll safely operate machines, help produce high-quality parts, and support day-to-day manufacturing operations. You’ll get hands-on experience and opportunities to learn from skilled operators in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate machines such as drill presses, lathes, mills, and CNCs
- Load parts, adjust tooling, and monitor machines to meet specifications
- Perform basic inspections using calipers and micrometers
- Document quality data and report issues
- Assist teammates with setups, startups, and documentation
- Maintain productivity and communicate shortages or downtime
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency
What You Bring:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work orders
- Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments
- Physical ability to stand for most of your shift
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
