What You Will Do:
Join Hayes Performance Systems as our Inside Sales amp; Customer Success Representative and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth and account retention.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle, partnering with internal teams to ensure successful execution, proactive communication, and timely resolution of customer needs. You will help strengthen customer relationships, support revenue growth, and identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
How You Will Do It:
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, order status requests, and account support needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment and delivery.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and other internal teams to support customer requirements.
  • Communicate proactively regarding order status, lead times, delivery schedules, and potential issues.
  • Resolve customer concerns and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor open orders and customer accounts to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Support sales initiatives through quotation follow-up, proposal support, and customer engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling, upselling, and new product introductions.
  • Support lead generation and outbound sales activities to develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM and ERP systems.
What We Look For:
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Bonus:
    • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, technical, or distribution environment.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
    • Experience preparing quotations and managing customer orders.
    • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand manufacturing products, processes, and applications.
