This job is for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer / Lead Engineer focused on high-voltage transmission line design.
Core Responsibilities
- :Lead transmission line engineering projects in a multidisciplinary environment
- .Design and review transmission lines from 69 kV to 500 kV
- .Approve designs, models, calculations, and project documentation
- .Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and company quality requirements
- .Serve as the Engineer of Record / Responsible in Charge
- .Perform value-engineering and cost optimization studies
- .Develop and improve engineering standards and procedures
- .Mentor and train junior engineers and designers
- .Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- .Conduct occasional site visits

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Civil/Structural Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of transmission line engineering experience
- Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license. - Not required
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency with:
- PLS CADD
- Transmission line design
- Foundation design
Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently
- Project coordination and stakeholder management
- Organization and multitasking skills
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

An engineer with 7 years of transmission line design experience who can independently design and review high-voltage transmission systems, lead teams, mentor engineers, ensure code compliance, and serve as the technical authority on complex transmission projects.
Salary : $80,000 - $160,000
