We are currently looking for a Lead New Product Development Program Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team to deliver new, innovative office furniture solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving new product development from concept to completion, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and clearly communicating throughout the New Product Development process. They must demonstrate strong leadership abilities and financial acumen, with experience working with design teams to select concepts and an eye for identifying future trends.
Job Responsibilities
Lead project and/or program teams, overseeing all aspects from initiation to closure.
With management team, develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
Ensure compliance with project or program budgets, allocating resources strategically.
Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
Collaborate with leaders from other departments to align efforts with business goals.
Foster a culture of innovation, exploring and implementing new technologies, processes, and approaches to enhance effectiveness.
Stay informed and apply new knowledge about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project/program management to maintain a competitive advantage.
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or relevant field of study
Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
Work Experience: Minimum 7 years Program Manager experience with Bachelor's Degree OR 5 years Program Manager experience with Master’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications
Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Program Manager experience working on an OEM new product development cross-functional team
Proven track record of successfully delivering new products from concept to completion through the New Product Development process
Experience gaining buy-in from stakeholders throughout the development process
Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills to clearly convey status to stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to motivate teams and drive projects to completion
Experience working with industrial design teams to evaluate and select product concepts
Financial acumen to understand product costs and budgets
Ability to anticipate future trends in office furniture to help guide new product development strategies
Experience in the furniture industry
Program Management Professional Certification (PMP)
