The LaSalle Street Cable Car Powerhouse is a beautiful, designated landmark, initially opened in 1887, in the heyday of Chicago’s cable care system. We intend to do it justice by restoring the original features to their former glory and, at the same time, breathe new life into the space.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, we’re looking for a brand-new bar back to join our team and open our second international restaurant in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Working and supporting the bar team to deliver excellent service and hospitality to the Hawksmoor standard.
- Focus on supporting the bar team is fully prepared each and every day.
- Working with the team with setting up, running and breaking down the bar for each service.
- Excellent rapport with your team and guests.
- Experience working in and supporting some of the best bars in Chicago.
- Comfortable and experienced with high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
- Professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Good work ethic and ability to learn and develop.
