Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the banquet areas.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests to enhance their experience.
- Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event operations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as Hawks Cay Resort's service standards.
- Assist in post-event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition.
- Provide excellent customer service while upholding the resort's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.
