Spa Supervisor
The Spa Supervisor is responsible for managing spa front of house operations, guest services agents, and all areas of the spa facility including the boutique, fitness areas, and spa guest areas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a warm introduction to guests' spa experiences, reserve/confirm spa appointments, act as point of contact for groups and bridal parties, and actively participate in ongoing training.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in all spa areas, resolve staff complaints regarding products or services, and be knowledgeable about supplies and inventory.
- Develop revenue-enhancing strategies, submit orders for operational supplies, and maintain accurate records of warranties and work in progress.
- Be diligent in maintaining spa facility condition, cleanliness, and maintenance, and ensure subordinate staff are fully trained in emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Applicants should have 2-3 years of customer service experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a pleasant voice and demeanor are essential for establishing rapport with guests and customers.
Physical Requirements
- The position requires occasional lifting of merchandise (30-50 lbs) and applicants should be in excellent physical condition.
- Ability to lift a five-gallon bottle of water and place it into a water dispenser is necessary.
Leadership and Guest Interaction
The Spa Supervisor must be able to lead in the absence of the Spa Director, maintain established guidelines, and establish a rapport with guests and customers in a warm, friendly, and courteous manner at all times.
