Hawkeye Tracking is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst who is interested working on innovative logistics management software development programs that support our nation’s defense. Join us for this exciting and challenging opportunity as a member of the Hawkeye Team focused on delivering new capabilities that builds and supports Department of Defense and foreign military logistics management systems. This role requires experience in software systems development functional support, operating and configuring existing logistics management systems, recommending changes to improve processes and create efficiencies, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing requirements will be important to your success.
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly learn and master a variety of inventory management and warehouse management systems
- Participate in the planning, design, development and testing of logistics management applications.
- Develop subject matter expertise for assigned systems and related business processes
- Work with clients and other business systems analysts to defi ne and document system requirements and future capabilities.
- Spearhead a user management effort involving requirement gathering, analysis, and functional/business process designs.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user, functional, and systems requirements that will be developed by the development team
- Configure, operate and test new software and software changes to ensure implementation meets specifications/requirements and customer expectations
- Troubleshoot the system to determine the source of system errors
- Find and log systems defects, including steps required to repeat, and track defects to closure
- Assist in the preparation of contract deliverable documentation
- Familiarity and experience in Automatic Identification Technology to include passive RFID
Qualifications:
- Minimum current DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 4 years functional support experience
- Direct functional experience with commercial and DoD inventory management systems to include Navy ERP is a plus
