Duties
- Oversee all aspects of high-end residential construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination between design, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools to ensure timely completion.
- Review blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and facilitate smooth on-site execution.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, budgeting, and contracts to optimize resources and control costs effectively.
- Supervise daily site activities, manage crews and subcontractors, and enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and progress; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate construction schedules with project timelines using tools like Primavera P6 or HeavyBid; oversee project scheduling and site logistics planning.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising personnel, managing crew assignments, providing managerial communication, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Review construction progress through blueprint reading and interpreting technical schematics; ensure work aligns with design intent.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including incident reports, safety logs, change orders, and project records for accountability and transparency.
Experience
- Proven track record managing high-end residential construction projects with a focus on luxury homes or similar premium properties.
- Extensive experience in construction site management including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with complex schedules.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms for project tracking and documentation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment management tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing or similar diagnostic devices is a plus.
- Deep understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols specific to residential sites.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately for precise execution of plans.
- Excellent communication skills in managing client expectations while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams effectively.
- Prior commercial or high-end residential construction experience is highly desirable; familiarity with pipeline management is advantageous for project flow planning.
