Hawai‘i Technology Academy, a statewide public charter school, is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher for our Kīhei campus. This position delivers instruction within a blended learning environment, supporting HTA’s mission through face-to-face, virtual, and place-based modalities.

- Salary Range: $56,918.00 – $95,632.00 (Commensurate with experience)

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face, virtual, and place-based/project-based instruction.
- Design courses and project-based lessons.
- Serve as a support and guide for parents and learning coaches.
- Conduct tutoring sessions for individuals and small groups.
- Organize subject-specific field trips and projects in accordance with school protocols.
- Collaborate with administration and the school team.
- Participate in required meetings, professional development, and school events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Hawai‘i Teacher Standards Board (HTSB) license (Elementary Education preferred).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Elementary Education.
- Minimum of three years of elementary teaching experience.
- Commitment to multidisciplinary curricula design and collaborative instruction.
Licensing Note: If hired without a Teacher’s Education Program completion, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawai‘i teaching license. You must enroll in an approved program and demonstrate active pursuit of licensing requirements annually.
