Recruitment Number 26-041TO, Program Specialist I (Grants Manager), $5,369 to $6,283 per month (SR-22, Step D to H)*, Statewide.
A flexible or hybrid work schedule may be available for an employee who has completed probation in this position and has a satisfactory performance record. This work schedule may change at any time based on the operational needs of the work unit and at the discretion of the position's supervisor or administration.
Summary of Duties
This position is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and developing the activities for the Judiciary’s external resource management program which includes the management and administration of external resources such as grants, other external funds, and training and technical assistance as well as compliance with their terms and conditions; and to support the development and updating of comprehensive plans for programs and standards, related to the Judiciary’s measurement of court performance, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education Requirement: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or
Excess administrative, professional, technical or other work experience which has provided a general background of the type and quality described below may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Specialized Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in one or combination of the following:

- Starting salary may be at a rate between Step D and Step H salary range listed above, based on qualifications.
- 78-1(c). Specifically, successful candidates are required to become a resident of Hawaii within thirty days after commencing their employment and as a condition of eligibility for continued employment. Bona fide military service members' dependents are exempt from the Hawaii residency requirement if the dependents are located in Hawaii due to the military service members' orders.
