As a Referrals Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in the patient care journey. You’ll help coordinate specialty referrals, support patients through every step, and contribute to the health and well-being of our island community.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate, track, and follow up on patient referrals
- Collaborate with providers and care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records
- Assist with patient travel coordination for appointments
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing training
- Provide excellent service to patients and families
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards
- Adapt smoothly to daily workflow changes

Your Schedule
- Monday–Friday (most weekends off!)
- Shifts between 6:30 AM–6:00 PM (8‑ or 10‑hour schedules)

What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of clinical office experience (or equivalent combination of training/experience)
- Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with QUEST & other insurance programs
- Knowledge of Hawaiʻi Health Care Networks
- ICD‑10 & CPT coding knowledge
