Hawaiʻi Island Community Health Center (HICHC) is seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in starting a career in healthcare. Prior experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training.
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time: 20–29.9 hours per week
- Schedule: Two weekdays (Mon–Fri) plus Saturdays
- Hours: Between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Pay: Starting at $18.50/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients
- Schedule appointments
- Answer phones and provide basic information
- Collect payments and maintain patient records
- Support clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Healthcare or front desk experience preferred, not required
