Advanced Practice Provider Outpatient Women’s Health
Pay rate: starting $114,467.80- commensurate w/ skillset and experience.
Location: Hawaii Island Community Health Center
Join our dedicated team at HICHC as a Certified Nurse Midwife, providing high-quality outpatient care in antenatal, postpartum, family planning, and general gynecology. This role focuses on preventive and primary care for women and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and exams
- Provide prenatal and postpartum care
- Offer contraception counseling and gynecological services
- Prescribe medications and treatments under Hawaii state guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient wellness
- Educate patients on reproductive health, hygiene, and disease prevention
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Midwife (APRN) , APRN, or PA-C licensed in Hawaii
- Current BLS certification
- One year of experience in a primary care clinic preferred
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
