Shower Aide/Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including home community care and assisted living environments. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support clients with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, facility staff, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and client progress.
• Engage in activities that support the social and emotional well-being of clients, particularly those with autism or other developmental challenges.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid practices and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
• Ability to work compassionately with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring specialized support.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in caregiving practices.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
