- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
- Handle janitorial responsibilities such as trash removal, floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and surface disinfecting to ensure a hygienic environment
- Operate cleaning machinery including floor buffers and other custodial equipment with adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring facilities are in optimal condition
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to moving supplies or equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow strict safety procedures when handling chemicals or performing industrial cleaning tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Support general facilities maintenance activities to uphold the cleanliness and functionality of the premises during evening hours
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices
- Skilled in handling chemical agents safely following established safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean environment
