Dietary Cook Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
