Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team at Allaire Health Services' facility in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments, treatments, and social events, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity.
Responsibilities:
- Transport residents to and from off-site appointments, treatments, and social events in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the transport vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of resident transportation, including trip logs and incident reports
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents during transportation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective transportation services
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the safety of residents and staff
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 0 years of experience in transport or related field (new graduates welcome to apply!)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull residents in wheelchairs or on stretchers (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
