What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight AWAKE position at Domestic Violence Shelter position at Haven House, Inc.?
The AWAKE weekday overnight position requires staff to work 12 am (midnight) to 8 am. Staff are responsible for working as team members to maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere in the residence.
Responsible for answering the crisis line, conducting intakes and assessments, welcoming residents into shelter, providing materials for basic needs, supportive communication including problem solving and crisis management.
Staff must demonstrate an understanding of domestic violence and commitment to the mission and core values of Haven House.
Additionally, provide supervision and appropriate interventions as needed. Document and maintain shift activities and track appropriate activities as needed for grants. Carry out assigned cleaning and administrative office tasks to support the operation of a 24-hour facility.

This is a grant funded posistion contingent upon the continued availablity of funding.
