Food Truck Team Leader - Job Description Haven Hot Chicken (HHC) Team Leaders are passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic leaders that bring the best possible guest experience while delivering the best Nashville style Hot Chicken and Not Chicken anyone has ever seen. Team Leaders consistently role model HHC values and they lead their shift with confidence to achieve a successful service, whether it be lunch or dinner. Food Truck Team Leaders flex their time between the food truck and business units. 

● Deliver Haven’s Standard of Excellence by setting direction with Team Members, Key Holders & Trainers to deliver quality food and great guest experiences. 

● Role model and coach Team Members, Key Holders and Trainers to uphold Haven Standards of Excellence and policies outlined in the HHC Employee Handbook. 

● Be connected to all employees on your shift by maintaining open communication channels, recognizing positive performance, and supporting them through both exemplary and challenging times. 

● Host daily pre-shift meetings, shift hand off meetings and participate in weekly store leadership meetings. 

● Train incoming Team Members and Key Holders as needed. 

● Implement procedural change as communicated by the General Manager and/or Events Manager to promote sales growth, reduce costs, and increase productivity. 

● Maintain a work environment during their shift that ensures inclusivity and promotes team safety. ● Ensure their shift maintains all food safety and cleanliness standards both inside and outside of the restaurant/truck. 

● Able to work autonomously with minimal oversight while effectively managing deadlines of work. ● Secures the restaurant/truck by following company safety protocols. 

● Execute daily operational tasks including: cash handling, assigning team break times, sales tracking, food preparation par setting, receiving of orders, audit restaurant stations, equipment maintenance and maintaining organization. 

● Managing the logistics of operating a mobile kitchen. 

● Live the HHC Food Truck Team Leader routine to achieve daily objectives. 

● Other duties as assigned. 

● Be positive, have a willingness to learn and grow every day. 

● Dedicated to delivering unreasonable hospitality. 

● Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures 

● Proven work experience as a chef or cook.. 

● Be flexible to work morning and night shifts, weekends and holidays. 

● Basic working knowledge google sheets & excel required. 

● Positive track record of effective coaching. 

● Working knowledge of restaurant systems: POS, LMS, & Inventory Management. ● Food Manager Certification. 

● Ability to drive daily, no recent moving or driving violations. 

● Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 25 pounds and on occasion 50 pounds. Compensation & Benefits 

● Pay Band $22.25 - $23.75, plus tips
